The Appia seats furnish the entire building housing the new Salvatore Ferragamo offices in Osmannoro, in the province of Florence, opened in late July as an extension of the fashion house’s historic headquarters.
The Appia seats used in the reception area, offices, meeting rooms and conference room all come with armrests and a black powder-coated aluminium frame. The seat and backrest are in black oak plywood.
Designed by the Swiss designer Christoph Jenni, the Appia seats stem from an experimentation with advanced technologies. Frame is made of aluminium, a durable and fully recyclable material.
Special attention has been paid to environmental sustainability in constructing and furnishing the new building, which is already on its way to obtaining the Leed Platinum certification – the highest sustainability standard for buildings.
